PROJECT ZERO

The stage is NEON DISTRICT, a near-future city seized by a machine army. Fight through five areas from the loading dock to the central reactor: regular troops, then a mid boss, then an elite strike force, and finally the last boss. Guns have recoil, lose accuracy while you move, can be aimed down sights (ADS) and deal different damage to each body part — the more headshots you land, the faster enemies go down.

CPU enemies search for you, use cover, flank and react to sound, and snipers warn you with a red laser sight before they fire. The mid boss SHADOW COMMANDER uses decoy clones and lightning-fast dashes, while the final boss ZERO TITAN shifts through three phases of beams, homing missiles, charges and reinforcements. Every big attack is telegraphed — read the boss and you can always dodge it.

Pick your primary weapon from an assault rifle, SMG, sniper rifle or shotgun, master four abilities — Dash, Shield, Scan and Overdrive — and choose from four difficulties from EASY to NIGHTMARE. Clear times and scores go on world rankings (daily, weekly and all-time).
